Melanie Norris - Tobacco Prevention Coordinator
My passion is educating and preventing. I
believe that everyone should hear how dangerous tobacco use is,
have resources and information to quit and the tools necessary
to make educated decisions around the use of tobacco.
I have a bachelor’s in Health Education
from Western Oregon University and love that my job with Tobacco
Free gives me the opportunity to share with our area youth how
dangerous tobacco use is and hopefully give them some concrete
reasons to never start smoking. It is wonderful to pool the
different resources our community has and work closely with our
local schools in tobacco prevention.
My husband is a high school health teacher and keeps our family
life busy as he coaches football and basketball. I have two boys
Kael and Braylon.
